The IC200CHS002 is a box-style I/O carrier module for the VersaMax platform. This module makes it easy to service and replace I/O modules without rewiring. It currently comes from Emerson Automation, which took over from GE Intelligent Platforms.

Installation and Wiring
The IC200CHS002 mounts horizontally on 35mm DIN rail. Allow 2 inches clearance above and below. Allow 1 inch clearance on each side. Use proper torque when tightening terminals. The recommended torque is 0.37 to 0.45 lb-ft.
Use copper wire rated for 90°C (194°F). For single wires, use AWG 14 to 22. For two wires in one terminal, use AWG 18. The module handles up to 300V AC voltage spikes.
Module Compatibility
This carrier works with 32-point I/O modules from the VersaMax family. It has 4 power/common connections. The keying dials ensure only the correct module type installs. The transparent door holds identification labels.
